A place to breathe.

Families that are trying to wade through all the issues that come up when dealing with a family member that has mental illness are on my heart due our son’s attempt at suicide.  He had struggled for about a year with depression and after the COVID-19 isolation and disruption in schedules and routines, his struggle became unbearable.  While we had already taken him to his pediatrician and he was on an antidepressant, sadly, these steps were not enough help for him.  It is now my mission to support other hurting families with the encouragement, knowledge, and tools they need.  Only another family that has been through it can truly understand.  Please click below to contact. 

This website is meant to be a safe place for families dealing with mental illness issues in the home.  There are so many questions, frustrations, and difficulties for families when they are navigating through the mental illness world.  For many of us, we have no experience in this world.  The work can literally take your breath away at times, there is so much to do and think about.  On top of that, there is the grief, sadness, and our own emotional issues to deal with while working through it.  Please click around this website and find the support you need.  There is also a contact page where you can send an email if you have specific questions.
